The cast aluminum end boxes have been optimized using advanced flow analysis in the CFD system to ensure optimum airflow. The EVO3 intercooler kit was specifically designed to meet the high demands of the big tuning stages on the BMW 135i and 335i. We eliminated the original click connections and increased the connection diameter at the inlet and outlet to ⌀70 mm, which means that the kit is equipped with reinforced silicone hoses. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure. In addition, all of our intercoolers are finished with a high quality anti-corrosion coating that ensures long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
The EVO3 high performance intercooler kit is completely ready to install and can be easily replaced with the stock intercooler. Due to the size, minor adjustments to the radiator support are required. The intercooler has been tested up to 6 bar and is pressure stable, so it also meets the requirements of racing.
