Normally mounts in minutes, however, Porsche did throw several variables into the installation depending upon the model and year of your Porsche.
Installation contingencies on remaining 944 normally aspirated 2-valve models:
- 85 1/2-88 models without optional ABS may have interference between the master cylinder proportioning valve and the cross bar. Normally proportioning valve can be turned to clear, if not do not continue installation.
- 85 1/2-88 master cylinder reservoir may interfere with cross bar. Replace with pre 85 1/2 reservoir Porsche (PN# 477.611.303B).
- 85 1/2-88 Twin air conditioning lines need to be moved to the side of the driver's side shock tower.

- Porsche 944 83-88 (2-valve non-turbo)
- If the original equipment 944 air filter and housing has been replaced with a performance filter and housing, install Racing Dynamics strut brace (PN# 944.99.00.011).
- For 1989 944 2.7 liter, please install Racing Dynamics strut brace (PN# 944.99.00.011).
