This kit lets you keep tabs on your ethanol content wirelessly from any smart device. It's not just about monitoring; with an optional 0.5-4.5V configurable output, you can easily enable flex fuel with your tuning device. Pretty slick, right?
One of the coolest things about this kit is how it integrates with your car's existing setup. It uses the factory fuel line, so you don’t have to worry about any of that old-school fuel line deterioration. Plus, it looks clean under the hood. The design is patent pending, which means they’ve put some serious thought into it. You won't be cutting or splicing wires, either—everything plugs right into your ECU using factory plugs. This means installation is a breeze, and you can have it up and running in just a few minutes.
Now, I should mention that this kit doesn’t come with an ethanol content gauge. Honestly, we think that’s just extra fluff. If you’re using Hondata or KTuner V1.2, you’ve already got Bluetooth capabilities built-in. And if you want a visual display, the KTuner V2 LCD screen can show you ethanol content, but it’s not essential.
Let’s talk materials for a second. The factory fuel line is made with EPDM, which is a tough synthetic rubber, and has an inner ETFE liner. This combo gives it excellent resistance to various fuels, including ethanol. So unless your fuel line is kinked or damaged (and yes, there’s a "Do Not Kink" warning for a reason), you won’t need to swap it out.
With gas prices going up and the push for greener fuels, ethanol is becoming a go-to choice. It's derived from corn and is now available at most gas stations. Ethanol burns cleaner and cooler than regular gasoline, plus it’s more resistant to detonation—perfect for those of us running high-compression turbocharged setups. For reference, E85 is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline, while E30 is 30% ethanol and 70% gasoline. You get the picture.
So, what exactly is flex-fuel? It allows your engine to use different fuel types—usually a blend of gasoline and ethanol or methanol—stored in the same tank. The ethanol content analyzer in this kit measures the ethanol levels and sends that info to your ECU, letting it adjust the engine's performance based on the fuel mix. It’s all about optimizing your ride.

Damage not covered under warranty may be considered for repair for a reasonable rate or a reduced price for a replacement piece (a fee will be charged for return shipping).

The PRL Motorsports Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, regardless of the age of product, but it does NOT cover normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use or how well you care for your PRL Motorsports product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the Limited Lifetime Warranty include abrasions, scratches, color changing from heat in exhaust components and so on. Less common examples include flex-section wear over an extended period of time.
