PHR is constantly striving to improve the Toyota Supra platform. And on a highly-modified Supra, heat is a problem. With HUGE front mount intercoolers, high idle speeds, heat drenching turbos and high performance motors all saddled with a hot A/C condenser, maintaining reasonable engine temperature is a real problem. Upgraded radiators and fan setups are installed to help to address this problem, but sometimes they still come up short. Airflow must be improved to remove the heat from the motor.

To address these problems, PHR is happy to introduce the IS300 Fan Shrould for the Supra 1993-1998.

  • Our IS300 Fan Shrould allows you to replace the OEM clutch fan with a pair of IS300 2001-2005 (or GS300 1998-2005) electric fans. Lexus OEM Fans are some of the best, proving to outlive any GS300 or IS300 we have come across! A pair of used GS300 or IS300 fans will not only outflow the OEM clutch fan but can also be acquired for next to nothing - making this option a no brainer when compared to other electric fan kits on the market!
  • At high vehicle speeds as airflow increases to the front of the car, if high pressure is built in front of the fans, bypass flaps open to allow even more airflow through the radiator, furthering cooling even more.
  • Not only do IS300 electric fans improve cooling, they also free up sacrificial horsepower that the Supra's factory clutch fan soaks up. This also greatly improves the longevity and reliability of the water pump. On high revving 2JZ engine builds, we have even seen the factory clutch fan spin the shaft completely out of the waterpump causing catastrophic failure. Don't be a victim. Be proactive.
