- Perform 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph to 10 mph in quick succession without allowing the brakes to cool. Avoid coming to a complete stop if possible.
- Continue with 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph, again in rapid succession. You may notice a resin smell as the brakes heat up.
- After the stops, drive at moderate speeds for about 5 minutes to allow the brakes to cool down naturally.
- Once cooled, you can use the brakes normally. Avoid using water to cool the brakes, as this can cause damage.
