Permatex Dielectric Tune Up Grease protects electrical connections and wiring from salt, dirt and corrosion. Dielectric Tune Up extends the life of bulb sockets and prevents voltage leakage around any electrical connection. Also prevents spark plugs from fusing to boots. Use Dielectric Tune Up for modern high energy ignition systems.

Suggested Applications: All electrical connections, spark plug boots, trailer hitches

Directions:

Spark Plug Boots:
  • Be sure ignition system is off.
  • Remove heavy grease with a clean cloth.
  • Coat inside of spark plug boot and ceramic portion of spark plug with a thin layer of Dielectric Grease.
  • Snap boot onto plug, making sure fit is tight.
Connectors and Battery Terminals:
  • Make sure ignition system is off.
  • Clean surface with Permatex Battery Cleaner.
  • Coat both parts of terminal contact with Dielectric Grease.
  • Reassemble maintaining metalto-metal contact.
