If you’re looking to amp up your UTV experience, the Trax Plus Stereo Intercom system is where it’s at. This setup is all about making sure you can chat with your buddies or blast your favorite tunes while you’re out tearing up the trails or cruising on the water. Let’s break down what you get and why it’s worth your time.

What’s in the Box?

  • TRAX Plus Stereo Bluetooth Intercom
  • Two Trax 5-pin 12' Headset/Helmet Cables with quick disconnect nexus mil spec connections
  • Two TRAX Stereo Helmet Wiring Kits featuring Full Range HFI Speakers and a water-resistant H2no plug
  • Music/Phone Audio Input Cable - a handy 6' cable for connecting your music or taking calls

This intercom is designed specifically for UTVs, sand cars, prerunners, and even boats that demand top-notch sound quality. With its crystal-clear audio and a digitally controlled VOX system, you’ll be able to hear every word your passenger says, and your music will sound fantastic.

Bluetooth and Volume Control

You can easily pair your phone or any Bluetooth music device without the hassle of wires. This means you can enjoy your favorite tracks or take calls hands-free while you're on the move. The one-touch operation makes it super easy to play, pause, or skip tracks right from the intercom. No fumbling around with your phone while you’re driving!

Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

Now, if you’ve ever been in a loud vehicle—say, one without a windshield or with a roaring V8—you know how tough it can be to hear anything. That’s where the DSP comes in. It cuts out all the background noise so you can focus on your conversation. You can turn it on or off with a simple press of a button, depending on your needs.

Key Features:

  • 2-person intercom setup
  • Elite model with Bluetooth and DSP
  • Built to military specifications
  • Digitally controlled squelch for clearer audio
  • Noisy environments? No problem—noise cancellation is included
  • Automatically mutes music when someone speaks
  • Comes with all the necessary mounting hardware
  • Check out the installation instructions here

So, if you’re ready to take your ride to the next level and enjoy seamless communication and killer sound quality, the Trax Plus Stereo system is definitely worth considering. Give it a shot, and you’ll wonder how you ever rode without it!

What is PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios has been the leader in off-road and racing communications since 1972. The company takes pride in its extensive field testing, competitive prices, unparalleled customer service, and simplified packages that make communications easy with unmatched support even after the sale. With more than 45 years of experience in the off-road racing industry, PCI Race Radios develops and tests all of its own products. The brand has a full-service technical repair shop at its headquarters in Long Beach, California, and provides trackside, mobile services to its desert enthusiasts at off-road races. PCI Race Radios supports the ASA, CORVA, ORBA, and the San Diego Off-Road Coalition. It also sponsors District 37, SCORE, SNORE, MDR, MORE, CORR, BITD, and provides desert racers with the Weatherman Relay Service.

PCI Race Radios is a family-owned company that is dedicated to taking the time to both “race and play.” The company tests its products on dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, rock crawlers, race cars, Raptors, RZRs, Mavericks, and boats. It can, therefore, thoroughly understand consumers’ needs and offer hands-on recommendations from experience.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
