Our skid plate is manufactured from 1/4 inch steel with CNC press brake bends for added strength includes a mid-span gusset plate. The skid features six (6) drainage weep holes, as well as, countersunk mounting holes for a completely flush under belly. No hang up points for obstacles!
All mounting points for the skid plate have machined threaded holes in their mating structures. No need for fish plates or nuts to remove the skid plate.?
We also offer an entire 4-Link Suspension Kit for Jeep JKU which includes this skid plate, transmission crossmember, rear frame crossmember and mounting brackets. We offer two versions to cover many years models of Jeep JKU.
Product ships raw steel and will need to be painted or powder coated. +
Note: The Motobilt JKU?belly skid plate is designed?to work with the Motobilt front transmission?crossmember (MB3023 or MB3027).
You must use the Motobilt rear crossmember with this skid plate. The?skid plate will not work with the factory gas tank and it will need to be relocated.
