Each set of Morimoto 1Banger LED pods comes with adjustable pedestal mounts for universal fitment. Performance

Forget about generic components; every part of the 1Banger is proprietary. We used LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics were fine-tuned with SolidWorks to ensure maximum efficiency. With options for white or yellow output and four distinct beam patterns’Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood’there’s a 1Banger to meet every driving style and performance need.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path with medium range, offering a perfect mix of width and distance. The oval hot spot at the center of the beam is expertly tuned to create an ideal flood beam, making your journeys through the wilderness feel much more comfortable. The 1Banger HXB Combo is a fantastic companion to any high-performance headlight setup.

All Weather

If you’re looking for all-around visibility, the white-output version is perfect. For those challenging weather conditions’rain, snow, or fog’the Yellow-output version shines through. Our Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs produce yellow light right from the source, allowing for better penetration through airborne particles without sacrificing brightness. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method offers true performance benefits in tough weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring the reliability of the 1Banger. High power can mean high heat, which is why we’ve incorporated a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator. This design has been optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all built to IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you need a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for use as a fog light, the 1Banger wide beam model complies with the latest SAE F regulations for on-road use.

Power Up

The Morimoto 1Banger LED Pods have been meticulously developed to set a new standard in their category, and that extends to the optional wire harness. If you want the best, you’ve found it. Every component of the harness has been carefully considered, without cutting corners for cost or simplicity. Enjoy a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, a specially designed inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
