Performance

We don’t settle for ??off the shelf?? components here. Every aspect of the 1Banger is proprietary. Using LucidShape, we’ve optimized performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned with SolidWorks, ensuring that every detail is just right. With options for white or yellow output and four unique beam patterns’Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood’there’s a 1Banger to match every driving style and performance requirement.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam pattern lights up your path with a medium range, blending width and distance for a more comfortable driving experience in the great outdoors. The oval hot spot at the center is finely tuned to create an ideal flood beam, making the 1Banger HXB Combo a fantastic companion to any high-performance headlights.

All Weather

For all-around visibility, the white-output version is a great choice. If you're often driving in rain, snow, or fog, the Yellow-output version is specifically designed to excel in challenging weather. Our Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs produce yellow light right at the source, effectively cutting through particles in the air without sacrificing brightness. Remember, filtering white light through a yellow lens may look good, but it doesn't provide the same performance in poor conditions.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we’ve put significant effort into ensuring the reliability of the 1Banger. High power can lead to high heat, which is why our design includes a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer to the radiator. This has been optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns will comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you're seeking a high-performance, street-legal LED pod to use as a fog light, the 1Banger wide beam model meets the latest SAE F regulation for on-road use.

Power Up

The Morimoto 1Banger LED Pods are crafted from the ground up to set a new standard in their category, and that includes the optional wire harness. If you want the best, you’ve found it. We’ve meticulously designed every component of the harness without cutting corners. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with a Yellow-LED backlight.
