Installation Requirements

Keep in mind that this isn’t a simple bolt-on system. Here’s what you need to know:

• Requires 8" x 2.5" coilovers (not included)
• Requires 8" x 3.0" bypass shocks (not included)
• Welding is necessary; proficient fabrication knowledge is required for installation
• Possible extension of the factory ABS sensor line depending on wire routing
• Bump stops can be configured to bump off the lower control arm, upper control arm, or spindle uniball cup. We typically recommend a King 2.0" x 2" stroke with King fabricated cans
• Limit straps are recommended; a 10" limit strap with an adjustable clevis kit can be purchased from our Builders Components section
• For 4WD equipped trucks, an extended axle setup is necessary or retain the factory outer CV assembly if deleting the 4x4 system

Important Notes

• Coilovers and bypasses are custom ordered and may not always be in stock. Please contact our sales team for current lead times on shock packages.
• Finish options include black powder coat or raw finish (note: raw kits ship unassembled).
• Upper control arms require 7/8in-14 rod ends; replacements can be purchased through our online store under Builders Components.
• Spindles use a 1.00in FK uniball (PN: WSSX16T); replacements are also available in our online store.
• Lower control arms require a 1.50in FK uniball (PN: COMH24T) and LSK 1.75in Delrin bushings, with replacements available online.
• This kit involves permanent frame modification as the shock tower is installed in place of the factory shock and upper control arm mounts.
