Lokar Gas Pedal Assembly with Rubber (Vertical Offset Mount) Universal - BAG-6149
Lokar's Competitor Series Throttle Assemblies are designed with a unique internal spanner nut ensuring perfect pedal tension. This pedal is in a class of its own. By adding this built in tensioning feature, we have eliminated the possibility of excess 'slop' in the throttle pedal.

Another milestone of the Competitor Series Throttle Pedal is its incredibly sturdy mounting base. The design of this pedal has enabled us to provide over an inch and a quarter wide mounting base yet maintain a narrow and sleek appearance. If that weren't enough, the mounting base is available in either a centered or an offset version which will raise or lower the center of the throttle assembly an entire inch. This feature is incredibly accommodating when installing the pedal in a vehicle which already has the throttle cable installed.

We have also built the Competitor Series Throttle Assemblies with our exclusive large diameter 3/4"-48 tooth fine-spline steel insert to provide ultimate strength and durability. This also allows for infinitely adjustable arms which can also be swapped for right and left adjustment of the throttle pad.

All of these features coupled with a spring-loaded throttle pad, Delrin bushings, and superior design have made the Competitor Series Throttle Pedal the finest and most versatile throttle pedal available.

Who is Lokar?

Lokar is an aftermarket company that was founded in 1988. The company specializes in manufacturing American Made hotrod parts. The company was founded by Skip Walls, who always had a passion for cars. Today, the name, Lokar, is widely recognized in the custom rod market.

In 1988, the company transitioned from a machinery service company to a manufacturer of quality products, thus becoming Lokar Street Rod Parts. Soon after, the company became known as Lokar Performance Products which is how we know the company today.

Growing To Become The Best

Starting in a garage attached to their house in Southern California, the company is now housed in a 52,000 sq. ft. facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. The company grew with staple products for Lokar, such as the spring return kit, brackets for kickdowns, U-Cut-to-Fit throttle cables, transmission, and engine dipstick, to name a few.
