Lokar Cut-to-Fit Parking Brake Cable (Black Polyurethane Housing | Transmount Brake Cables) - EC-80TU
Transmount Cable Kit is designed for use with Lokar's Transmount Emergency Hand Brake and includes bracket for mounting cables to hand brake. Kit comes equipped with quality one-piece aluminum adjusters and aluminum ferrule to eliminate fraying of stainless housing. Outer housing is designed with specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable. Stainless steel inner cable resists moisture. Design allows rear end backing plate fittings to be removed without removing brake cables. Lokar cables also feature adjustable cable lock and clevis. Kit includes two 8 foot outer housings that "U-Cut-to-Fit" and are available in stainless housing or black housing. Application fits 8" and 9" Fords, Chevy, Chrysler and Lincoln Versailles drum and disc brakes.

Lokar is an aftermarket company that was founded in 1988. The company specializes in manufacturing American Made hotrod parts. The company was founded by Skip Walls, who always had a passion for cars. Today, the name, Lokar, is widely recognized in the custom rod market.

In 1988, the company transitioned from a machinery service company to a manufacturer of quality products, thus becoming Lokar Street Rod Parts. Soon after, the company became known as Lokar Performance Products which is how we know the company today.

Growing To Become The Best

Starting in a garage attached to their house in Southern California, the company is now housed in a 52,000 sq. ft. facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. The company grew with staple products for Lokar, such as the spring return kit, brackets for kickdowns, U-Cut-to-Fit throttle cables, transmission, and engine dipstick, to name a few.
