If you own a 2001-2004 Duramax truck, you know how restrictive and prone to failure the factory intercooler tubing can be. With a mere 2.25 inches in diameter and a 90-degree boot at the intercooler, it’s a recipe for trouble. Not to mention, the hot side intercooler tube can rub against the power steering line, leading to potential boost leaks.

Our Solution for Better Performance

We’ve tackled this issue head-on by routing the hot side tube directly into the intercooler using race-proven 5-layer silicone boots. This design results in lower temperatures, improved airflow, and extra clearance in those tight spots. To help your exhaust gases escape more easily, we’ve included factory replacement 2-inch up pipes.

Our up pipes are constructed with .120-inch wall tubing and the toughest bellows on the market, ensuring they’ll last as long as your truck does. Plus, for added style, we’ve added a forward-facing thermostat housing with a coolant return to keep your IHI turbo running cool. Is your factory coolant tank looking a bit worn? We’ve included a factory replacement coolant tank made of all-aluminum, complete with a low coolant sensor to keep your engine bay looking sharp.
