The LLY Duramax comes with a charge air system that can be a bit restrictive right out of the factory. After noticing the potential power loss caused by the small-diameter factory tubes, we decided to step things up. By increasing the tubing size to a robust 3 inches, we unlocked some serious power gains over the stock intercooler system.

During our dyno testing of the HSP upgraded intercooler tubing, we were amazed by the horsepower and torque improvements from this often-overlooked component. In fact, this tube allows for a whopping 53% more airflow compared to the factory unit! Keep in mind that power increases may vary depending on your specific model, tuning calibrations, turbo options, and aftermarket fuel systems.
