Hot Side Intercooler Tube: A Key Component

Let’s talk about the hot side tube that comes with the HSP Intercooler Bundle Kit. This part often flies under the radar, but it's crucial! The factory hot side pipe on LLY trucks is notorious for failing. Its routing can rub against the power steering line, leading to holes in the tube, which results in frustrating boost leaks and a noticeable loss of power.

That’s why our Hot Side tube is designed to route directly into the intercooler, promoting lower temperatures, improved airflow, and better clearance in those tight spots. Made from a durable 3-inch mandrel-bent tube, it can even be powder-coated to add some flair to your engine bay!

Cold Side Tube: Performance Meets Efficiency

The cold side pipe is also crafted from a 3-inch diameter tube. We use mandrel bending to maximize airflow and minimize turbulence within the pipes. This cold side tube connects seamlessly to the factory-style bridge, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance while keeping all the necessary components in place.
