The factory hot side pipe on LLY trucks is known to fail due to its routing, which can rub against the power steering line. This can create a hole in the tube, leading to boost leaks and a frustrating loss of power—something that many LLY owners have experienced.

To tackle this issue, our Hot Side tube is designed to route directly into the intercooler. This thoughtful design helps maintain lower temperatures, improves airflow, and offers better clearance in those tight spots. Made from a durable 3-inch mandrel-bent tube, it can even be powder-coated to add some flair to your engine bay!

Cold Side Tube Insights

Now, let’s discuss the Cold Side tube. Like the hot side, it's also constructed from a 3-inch diameter tube. We mandrel-bend this tube to maximize airflow and minimize turbulence, which is often a concern in these systems.
