This setup features a mandrel-bent 4-inch intake tube designed to maximize airflow, paired with HSP's signature heat shield box that keeps unwanted hot air away from your cold air intake. Remember, for every 1-degree rise in intake air temperature, you can lose up to 3 horsepower. Keeping your intake cool is key!
Turbo Mouthpiece Benefits
One of the standout features of this kit is HSP's high flow turbo mouthpiece. This nifty addition allows you to reroute your factory PCV system and say goodbye to the factory resonator box. Why is this important? It helps prevent engine oil from gumming up your turbo and intake system, ensuring everything runs smoothly. (Just a heads up, the PCV re-route is sold separately—check out part number 003-1-HSP.)
