The LB7 Duramax comes with a pretty restrictive charge air system right out of the factory. After noticing how much power could be lost due to the small-diameter factory tubes, we took action. We increased the tubing size to a robust 3 inches, which resulted in some remarkable power gains compared to the original intercooler system. During our dyno testing of the HSP upgraded intercooler tubing, we were thrilled to see significant improvements in both horsepower and torque from what is often an overlooked component.
