Brake Pad Installation Tips

  • Ensure proper installation by securely positioning the pads in the caliper.
  • Check brake fluid levels and flush or replace as necessary.

  • Examine rotors for deep grooves or scoring; resurface or replace if needed.
  • If resurfacing isn’t required, remove any contamination from previous pads by sanding the rotors with 130-grit sandpaper. Clean the surface with soap and water afterward.
