Girodisc Rear 2 Piece Floating Rotors for Ferrari 599 GTB 2007-2012 with Optional CCM Rotors

If you're looking to upgrade your braking game, let me tell you about the Girodisc 2-Piece Floating Rotors for the Ferrari 599 (2006-2012). These bad boys are a direct swap for your factory discs—no complicated modifications or adjustments needed. Just bolt them on and you're good to go, seamlessly fitting with your OE calipers.

What sets these rotors apart? Well, the central hat section is crafted from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. That means you're getting a lightweight yet incredibly strong component that can handle the heat of spirited driving. The rotor itself is made from Girodisc's proprietary cast iron, which is poured and machined right here in the USA. It's all about quality control, and they take that seriously.

Now, let’s talk about cooling. These rotors feature a curved vane design, inspired by racing technology, which acts like a centrifugal pump to push cooling air through the disc. This means better heat dissipation during those intense braking moments, reducing the chances of fade when you really need to stop. Plus, with the floating mount system using 8 or 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, you’re looking at a setup that can handle the load while allowing for axial and radial float. This is crucial for maintaining performance and longevity.

Girodisc doesn’t skimp on the details, either. The pins are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance, and they’re secured with grade 12 cap screws and hardened washers. To keep things quiet, they even use anti-noise spring washers to prevent that annoying rattle when the rotors are cold. This thoughtful design allows the rotor to expand with heat without making a racket, and it helps with self-centering between the pads.

When the time comes to replace your rotors, it’s as easy as swapping out the cast iron part—no need to mess with the whole setup again. They come sold in pairs, so you can upgrade both sides at once.

In short, if you’ve got a Ferrari 599 and you're serious about performance, these Girodisc rotors are a solid investment. They’re built to last and designed to enhance your driving experience. Give your ride the stopping power it deserves!
