The Girodisc A2-126 is engineered as a direct replacement for the original equipment (OE) rotors on the Porsche 997.2 GT3 and GT2 models, specifically designed for 2010-2011 GT3 and GT3 RS, as well as 2007-2009 GT2 and GT2 RS variants. This rotor system requires no modifications for installation and is compatible with factory unmodified brake pads, ensuring seamless integration with your existing braking setup.

Construction and Design

The A2-126 rotor features a central hat made from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum, meeting aircraft specifications for strength and lightweight performance. The rotor itself is crafted from Girodisc's proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in-house in the USA. This attention to detail not only enhances durability but also optimizes braking performance.

Advanced Cooling Technology

Utilizing a curved vane design, the rotor operates as a centrifugal pump, effectively channeling cooling air through the disc to maintain optimal temperatures during intense braking scenarios. Floating Mount System

The Girodisc A2-126 employs a floating mount system that features either 8 or 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, custom-manufactured to Girodisc's specifications and cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. Purchaser acknowledges the Product is for off-road racing use only. The nature of off road racing involves significant risk, and the conditions under which the Product is used and types of use of the Product are many depending on factors such as installation and use. Due to the inherent risk of the activity in which the Product is used, the Purchaser understands and agrees the Seller provides a limited warranty for the Product, specifically, the warranty is limited to the following specification: less than .0015” runout and less than .0003”disc thickness variation.

If Purchaser provides Seller with written notice of any condition inconsistent with the specification set forth above on or before six (6) months from the date of delivery and complies with the return requirements set forth in Section 6, then Seller will, at its election either:
  • Provide a replacement Product, or
  • Refund the purchase price.
This limited warranty does not cover, and Seller will not pay for, or provide, labor or materials that which may be necessary to remove a Product or install a replacement Product. This warranty is limited to the exchange of the Product or return of the purchase price.
