The Girodisc A2-035 is a precision-engineered rear rotor upgrade designed specifically for the Porsche 981 Cayman S (2014-2016) and Boxster (2013-2016). This two-piece rotor system is a direct replacement for the OEM disc, featuring Girodisc-provided caliper spacers for optimal fitment.

Enhanced Performance

With a diameter of 325mm, the Girodisc rotor is larger than the stock 298mm rotor, delivering increased braking force and improved cooling capabilities. The rotor's unique curved vane design acts as a centrifugal pump, effectively channeling cooling air through the disc during operation.

High-Quality Materials

  • Central Hat: Constructed from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for lightweight strength.
  • Disc Material: Made from Girodisc's proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in-house in the USA for superior quality.

Floating Mount System

The Girodisc A2-035 features a floating mount system that utilizes 8 or 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured to Girodisc specifications and cadmium plated for enhanced corrosion resistance. This design allows for axial and radial float between the hat and disc, ensuring optimal performance under braking conditions.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation is straightforward, and once the Girodisc system is in place, you can easily replace the cast iron rotor as needed. The pins are secured with grade 12 cap screws and hardened washers, and anti-noise spring washers are included to minimize noise during cold operation while allowing for thermal expansion.

Each rotor is sold in pairs, making it easy to upgrade your braking system with confidence.

Purchaser acknowledges the Product is for off-road racing use only. The nature of off road racing involves significant risk, and the conditions under which the Product is used and types of use of the Product are many depending on factors such as installation and use. Due to the inherent risk of the activity in which the Product is used, the Purchaser understands and agrees the Seller provides a limited warranty for the Product, specifically, the warranty is limited to the following specification: less than .0015” runout and less than .0003”disc thickness variation.

If Purchaser provides Seller with written notice of any condition inconsistent with the specification set forth above on or before six (6) months from the date of delivery and complies with the return requirements set forth in Section 6, then Seller will, at its election either:
  • Provide a replacement Product, or
  • Refund the purchase price.
This limited warranty does not cover, and Seller will not pay for, or provide, labor or materials that which may be necessary to remove a Product or install a replacement Product. This warranty is limited to the exchange of the Product or return of the purchase price.
