Girodisc Front or Rear 2 Piece Floating Rotors for Ferrari 430 2004-2009

Hey there, fellow car enthusiasts! If you're looking to upgrade your braking system, let me introduce you to the Girodisc rotor system. This isn't just your run-of-the-mill replacement; it’s a direct swap for the stock discs on your ride—no need for any fancy modifications. Just bolt it right on, and you're good to go. It pairs seamlessly with your OE calipers, so you know you're in for a solid upgrade.

What really sets these rotors apart is their construction. The central hat is crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, sourced right here in the U.S. That’s some serious material that brings both strength and lightweight benefits to the table. The rotor itself is made from Girodisc's proprietary cast iron, poured and machined entirely in-house in the USA. You can trust that this is quality stuff.

Now, let’s talk performance. These rotors feature a curved vane design that’s been developed through racing experience. What does that mean for you? Well, it acts like a centrifugal pump, pushing cooling air through the disc to keep temperatures down during those intense braking moments. Say goodbye to brake fade!

Another cool feature is the floating mount system. This setup uses either 8 or 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, designed and manufactured by Girodisc to their own strict specifications. These pins are cadmium plated to resist corrosion, ensuring they’ll last you a long time. They handle all the load during braking while allowing the rotor and hat to float axially and radially. This means better alignment and performance every time you hit the brakes.

Worried about noise? No problem! The pins are equipped with anti-noise spring washers, which help keep things quiet when the rotors are cold. They allow for thermal expansion without the annoying rattle that can come with floating rotors. Plus, this float system helps the rotor self-center between the pads, giving you a more consistent braking experience.

Once you’ve got the Girodisc system installed, replacing the cast iron rotor is a breeze when it’s time for a change. They come sold in pairs, so you can upgrade both sides of your ride.

Fitment:

  • Ferrari 355 (1994-1999)
  • Ferrari 430 (2004-2009)

So, if you're serious about your braking performance and want something that’s built to last, the Girodisc rotors are definitely worth considering. They’re designed for enthusiasts who want the best for their cars. Trust me, you won't regret it!
