- Weight Reduction: Each Girodisc rotor weighs approximately 14.4 lbs, significantly lighter than the stock rotors at 22.5 lbs. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight contributes to improved acceleration and suspension responsiveness.
- Material Composition: The rotor features a central hat section constructed from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. The disc itself is crafted from Girodisc's proprietary cast iron, poured and machined entirely in-house in the USA.

- Floating Mount System: The rotor and hat are connected via a floating mount system using 8 or 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins. These pins are manufactured to Girodisc specifications and cadmium plated for superior corrosion resistance. The design allows for axial and radial float, promoting self-centering between the pads.
- Noise Reduction Features: To minimize noise during operation, the pins are equipped with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side. This feature accommodates thermal expansion while preventing rattling and noise typically associated with floating rotors.
