The Girodisc A2-145 is designed to be a seamless replacement for your OE disc, ensuring a hassle-free installation process. No modifications are needed; simply bolt it on and enjoy enhanced performance with your original equipment calipers and parking brake.

Crafted with precision, the central hat section of the A2-145 is made from high-quality, U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The rotor itself is constructed from Girodisc's proprietary cast iron, which is poured and machined entirely in-house in the USA. This level of craftsmanship ensures durability and reliability on the road or track.

One of the standout features of the A2-145 is its advanced curved vane design. This innovative approach, developed through years of racing experience, acts like a centrifugal pump, effectively channeling cooling air through the disc to manage heat during intense braking situations.

The floating mount system of the rotor and hat is a testament to Girodisc's commitment to quality. It includes 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured to exacting specifications and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins handle the load during braking while allowing for axial and radial float between the hat and disc, ensuring optimal performance.

To minimize noise when the rotors are cold, the pins are equipped with anti-noise spring washers. This thoughtful design feature allows for thermal expansion while eliminating the rattling sounds often associated with floating rotors. Additionally, this float mechanism helps the rotor self-center between the brake pads, enhancing performance and longevity.

Purchaser acknowledges the Product is for off-road racing use only. The nature of off road racing involves significant risk, and the conditions under which the Product is used and types of use of the Product are many depending on factors such as installation and use. Due to the inherent risk of the activity in which the Product is used, the Purchaser understands and agrees the Seller provides a limited warranty for the Product, specifically, the warranty is limited to the following specification: less than .0015” runout and less than .0003”disc thickness variation.

If Purchaser provides Seller with written notice of any condition inconsistent with the specification set forth above on or before six (6) months from the date of delivery and complies with the return requirements set forth in Section 6, then Seller will, at its election either:
  • Provide a replacement Product, or
  • Refund the purchase price.
This limited warranty does not cover, and Seller will not pay for, or provide, labor or materials that which may be necessary to remove a Product or install a replacement Product. This warranty is limited to the exchange of the Product or return of the purchase price.
