Why Upgrade Your Fuel System?
If you're pushing your engine's performance, it’s crucial to ensure your fuel system is up to the task. Upgrading your fuel pump is a great first step, but doing just that can lead to excessive fuel pressure, especially at idle. The factory Bosch regulators often struggle to keep up with larger fuel pumps, particularly in turbo E85 setups that require high fuel flow rates.
Simplified Installation
Instead of replacing the entire fuel rail or dealing with an adapter and a separate regulator, you can simply clip in the FX-S 8051. This allows you to run a much larger pump setup while still using the factory rail. Need to tweak the fuel pressure? No problem! Unlike the fixed-pressure Bosch regulators, the FX-S can be adjusted from 1.4 bar to 5 bar, giving you the flexibility you need.
Compatibility and Reliability
The FX-S 8051 is designed for compatibility with pump gas, ethanol, or methanol. Plus, it features a soft Teflon valve seat instead of the usual metal-on-metal design, ensuring a positive seal that maintains fuel pressure even after shutdown—perfect for reliable engine startups.
