The New DV+ for Mercedes, Ford, and Volvo!
Say hello to the GFB DV+ solution—it's designed to keep what works while replacing what doesn't. Simple, right?
Key Features
- Utilizes the factory solenoid coil for effortless integration.
- Replaces plastic valve parts with robust metal for enhanced reliability, especially on tuned engines.
- Direct-fit replacement that boasts GFB's TMS benefits.
- Features an exclusive "pilot-actuated" valve mechanism for quick response at high boost levels.
Why Choose GFB's DV+?
GFB is expanding the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the often underperforming factory diverter valve found in many European vehicles. The factory solenoid coil is impressive—it’s faster than any pneumatic valve, so why replace it? The real issue lies in the valve mechanism.
GFB's DV+ tackles this by swapping out the valve parts for a sturdy anodized billet aluminum housing, complete with a precision-machined brass piston. The result? A sharper throttle response and lightning-fast valve actuation that can handle all the boost you throw at it!
Leave Complicated Solutions Behind
Other manufacturers often suggest replacing the entire system with a traditional pneumatic valve. This approach can lead to long vacuum hose runs and the need for extra parts to connect to the intake manifold vacuum. Not to mention, the added complexity can result in slower response times, higher costs, and a longer installation process.
In contrast, GFB's DV+ is not only more responsive and budget-friendly, but it’s also easier to install. Plus, you won't have to worry about compressor surge or turbo flutter. And guess what? No need for different springs or frequent rebuilds either!
Performance You Can Count On
With the DV+, you get improved performance and faster boost recovery without paying for unnecessary extras!
The DV+ Story: Better Performance, More Reliability
Many modern European cars come equipped with ECU-controlled solenoid-type diverter valves. This design has its perks, as the valve reacts quickly and only opens when necessary. However, there are a few drawbacks:
- The diaphragms are fragile and prone to rupture, particularly when boost levels are increased. Once that happens, the valve can no longer maintain boost pressure.
- The thin plastic lip surrounding the diaphragm can break off, which may lead to serious turbo damage.
Moreover, the solenoid on the original diverter is directly connected to the valve mechanism. Unfortunately, neither the solenoid nor the return spring is strong enough to reliably open and close the valve at high boost levels.
These issues are why many aftermarket manufacturers opt to replace the entire diverter or switch to a purely pneumatic system. While these replacement kits may be stronger, their slower response and lower flow rate don't justify the extra cost and complexity. It’s more of a compromise than a true solution.
GFB's Unique Approach
GFB has taken a fresh approach to provide a complete solution that addresses existing problems while enhancing performance—without breaking the bank.
The DV+ effectively resolves the factory valve issues with a straightforward and elegant solution. By retaining the factory solenoid, the DV+ keeps all the benefits of the stock system. Plus, swapping out the valve parts for durable metal components guarantees strength and reliability, no matter how much boost you run.
But that’s not all! Instead of using the solenoid to directly actuate the valve, we’ve introduced a unique "pilot-actuation" system. This means the solenoid only manages airflow through a small passage that opens and closes the piston. This way, it doesn’t matter how much boost you throw at it—the DV+ will open and close reliably without ever pushing the solenoid beyond its limits.
This feature also enhances the factory system by allowing the valve to open progressively in response to boost pressure. It opens just enough to get the job done, unlike the factory valve that simply opens and shuts, resulting in better throttle response.

It all started with the passion of John Adrian to create something that other aftermarket parts cannot produce. Most parts he encountered are either of low quality and are made out of inferior materials.
He decided to take matters into his own hands and started designing, testing, and developing parts that would help improve the performance of his vehicle. Using his own car as a personal testbed, he created products that other enthusiasts later noticed, which has become the start of Go Fast Bits.
Your Source of Performance PartsThe company offers various performance parts such as boost controllers, blow-off valves, short shifters, pulley kits, and more. John Adrian also acts as the chief engineer of the company. Using his 35 years of experience manufacturing high-quality parts for the automotive industry that includes Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts, he was able to produce parts that meet the demands of his customers.
