The Billy Boat Exhaust is made completely out of 3" 16 gauge 304 stainless steel (not lesser 409 stainless) for the ultimate in durability. The system uses 3/8 thick flanges, bolted together with copper gaskets for a leak free and positive fit for the life of the system. We moved the synchronized crossover closer to the headers, resulting in increased 56HP, increased 74TQ, and better throttle response with the complete system installed.
The real magic is in the mufflers, as we have used our expertise in bi-modal muffler systems to bring the 6.2L supercharged V8 to life. We manufacture our own 3" butterfly / valve assembly, upgrading the size for increased flow and performance. The quad 4" exhaust uses the factory electronic valves and maintains all the factory driving mode settings, yet the experience is taken to another level. In touring mode the tone is increased to reveal a deeper, subtle refined tone, while the sport and track mode open the valve to unleash the beast with a visceral roar that will turn heads under acceleration.
The system must be used with the Billy Boat Exhaust front pipes, which give you the option to mate the system to Billy Boat 2" tri-Y headers (best performing option, with catalytic convertors or without for track use) or to factory manifolds.Features:
