Who is EBC?

Making the car stop fast is equally important as making it go fast. When upgrading your vehicle, you need to consider improving its braking system in order for you to have a more enjoyable driving experience. There are a lot of brake manufacturers out there in the market but only a few can really claim an actual performance gain and one of them is EBC.

How It Started

EBC was founded in 1978 and is known as one of the largest producers of brake components in the automotive industry. With its humble beginning starting in a single van, they are now a multinational company with facilities in the UK and the US and is the leader in the industry.

A Product For Your Every Need

EBC has one of the largest inventories of brake discs and pads with over 5000 part numbers for every vehicle imaginable. This allows them to cater to a wide range of customers whatever car you own, whenever you are in the world. The company even offers pads for the military such as their Humvee, armoured vehicles and tanks.

A Pad For Every Occasion

The company manufactures different types of brake pads depending on the required application. They manufacture sintered pads, aramid, ceramic and carbon brake pads. They also offer either steel or stainless rotors.

Safety

EBC’s goal is to provide not just a high-performing brake pad, but it should be safe and dependable. With the current emergence of cheap knock-offs brake pads, EBC maintains its commitment to providing brake pads that you can put your trust on. All their pads are tested rigorously making sure that it can perform and function as it should, whatever the condition may be.

No warranty is offered for brake vibration suffered due to uneven rotor thickness wear after incorrect installation of brake rotors. It is commonly known in the brake rotor business that accurate mounting and checking of runout on brake rotors is paramount at installation and in spite of necessary warnings many mechanics still see fit to ignore this warning and make no effort whatsoever to check rotor runout. This leads to brake vibration in the 3-5,000 miles lifetime period and is not a warrantable condition. The solution for vibration at this stage is to have the rotors turned or replaced and to thoroughly clean the mounting flange on the vehicle and carefully check for runout before returning the vehicle to service use.
