If you’re looking to keep your engine running cool and happy, the CSF Engine Coolant Radiator is a solid choice. I’ve had my fair share of radiator issues over the years, and this one really stands out. It’s designed with an OE style, which means it fits right in without any fuss. When your cooling system is on point, you’re not just prolonging the life of your engine; you’re also avoiding those pesky overheating problems that can really ruin your day.
Now, let’s get into the nitty-gritty. This radiator has a downflow design with two rows, which helps maximize cooling efficiency. The core measures 23 5/8 inches long and 24 15/16 inches wide, with a thickness of 1 5/8 inches. It’s built from aluminum, which is lightweight yet strong, while the tanks are made from durable plastic that can handle the heat. You’ll find the inlet on the lower passenger side and the outlet on the lower driver side, both with a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. Plus, it comes with a high-efficiency 12-inch oil cooler, so you know it’s ready to take on some serious heat.
One of the things I appreciate about this radiator is the construction quality. CSF uses OEM-specified plastic tank-aluminum core construction, and the tanks are made from virgin-grade engineered plastic resins that are glass-filled for added strength. You can trust that it’s built to last. The gaskets are made from special grade EPDM rubber, which can withstand extreme temperatures, down to -120 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s some serious durability.
And let’s not forget about the performance. The fins have a high-performance multi-louvered design, which helps with airflow and cooling efficiency. Before it even leaves the factory, each radiator is leak tested at 150% of operating pressure—so you know it’s not going to let you down. CSF also takes packaging seriously; they put their radiators through a "10-foot drop test" to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
CSF has been in the game for over 50 years, and they know their stuff. They offer a massive range of radiator models, covering over 3,200 applications from Acura to Volkswagen. Whether you need copper-brass or all-aluminum, they’ve got you covered. They’ve sold over 30 million units worldwide, so you can bet that they’ve got the experience to back it up.
When it comes to fitment, this radiator is specifically designed for the Ford E-series from 2004 to 2010. Just a quick tip: when you’re swapping out your radiator, take a moment to check the old radiator pressure cap for any signs of wear. It’s a small step that can save you a headache down the line.
In short, if you’re serious about keeping your engine cool, the CSF Engine Coolant Radiator is a smart investment. It’s built tough, performs well, and has the pedigree to prove it.
