Clayton Offroad Diesel 1.5 Inch Premium Lift Kit Jeep Gladiator 2020-2023
$3218.00

If you’re in the market for a lift kit that really gets the job done, this 1.5-inch suspension lift for the Jeep Gladiator JT (2020 and up) might just be what you need. It’s designed for those who want to boost their ride without going overboard on tire size. This kit strikes a balance between off-road capability and on-road comfort, which is something every Jeep owner can appreciate.

Available in 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch lift options, this setup comes with eight adjustable control arms that are built to last. You’ll find our dual durometer Giiro Joint bushings and forged Johnny Joint adjusters in the mix. Those Johnny Joints? They’re not just for show. They’re greaseable, rebuildable, and can handle up to 40 degrees of misalignment. So, whether you’re cruising down the highway or tackling rugged trails, you’ll feel the difference.

The Giiro joints are a game-changer. They pivot freely, self-lubricate, and are maintenance-free, providing a ride that feels smooth no matter what terrain you’re on. It’s like your Jeep is gliding over bumps instead of crashing through them. And yes, it really does feel that good—this kit brings together the comfort of a daily driver and the capability for serious off-roading.

And if you’ve got a Diesel Gladiator, we’ve got you covered too. This kit has been tailored with a slightly longer free length and an increased spring rate of 216 lbs/in, designed to handle that extra weight while still providing a plush ride. You’ll be able to fit 37-inch tires on a Rubicon and 35-inch tires on a Sport or Sahara model, but make sure you’ve got the right backspacing to clear those tires.

Control Arms

Let’s talk about control arms for a second. Getting the axle position, pinion angles, and caster angles right is crucial for that smooth ride. Our control arms come with a unique bushing that has a large knurled washer, giving you a better clamping force to help eliminate those pesky death wobble issues. Plus, the lower control arm housings are built from super thick 5/16-inch steel, so you don’t have to worry about them getting damaged out on the trails.

Track Bars

Now, setting your vehicle’s track is just as important. Our track bars are made from thick 1 3/8 inch x 5/16 inch DOM tubing, which means they’re built tough. The design is straightforward—easy to bolt in and adjustable, with a longer body for better access to the jam nut. The dual durometer Giiro bushing at the frame end helps keep road noise at bay.

Coil Springs

When it comes to coil springs, we use a mix of linear, dual, and triple rate designs depending on what your Gladiator needs. Linear coils are evenly spaced and prevent wear and tear, while dual and triple rate coils give you that extra support, especially with the added weight in the back. All our coils are finished in a durable zinc-rich powder coat to fend off rust.

Sway Bar Links

Don’t overlook the sway bar links. They’re crucial for better handling, especially when you lift your vehicle. Our links are bolt-in, pre-greased, and use Teflon-coated heim joints to keep everything moving smoothly.

Bump Stops

Finally, bump stops might seem simple, but they’re essential. They limit up travel before your tires or shocks hit their limits. Our front bump stops are adjustable UHMW, while the rear ones come with pre-drilled options for those who want to customize their setup.

In short, this is a solid lift kit that’s ready to elevate your Jeep Gladiator experience. If you’re looking for a blend of performance and comfort, this is it.

The Story of Clayton Offroad

Clayton Offroad has been setting the standard for long-arm suspension kits since 2001. In November of 2002, the brand became the first suspension manufacturer to offer long-arm suspensions for all four of the major Jeep models: the TJ, XJ, WJ, and ZJ.

Clayton Offroad wasn’t established on a business plan, but rather started out as a hobby with a solid business philosophy that prospered. The company is dedicated to providing its customers with the highest quality and most durable products available on the market with great attention to customer service. At Clayton Offroad, they aren’t just working on manufacturing Jeep parts, they are also competing at local competitions, riding on the trails with local clubs, and out 4-wheeling with their buddies.

Born from a Personal Realization

The co-owner and founder of Clayton Offroad, Clayton Walters, began operations in a one-car garage. He started out designing and manufacturing rocker panels and bumpers for his own Jeep ZJ. In 2001, after daily driving a ZJ with a 6-inch lift and short-arm suspension for a year, he realized the need for a new suspension system to make his car a pleasure to drive again. In June of that year, Clayton Offroad Manufacturing, LLC was born and debuted its ZJ long-arm suspension at the Grand Slam East event in Gore, Virginia. The suspension proved to be a huge success after being driven over 400 miles to try its luck at the toughest trails at the event. Later that year, Clayton Offroad was producing ZJ long-arm kits in full swing, followed by the release of the XJ kit, WJ kit, and eventually a TJ kit.

In 2007, with the new Jeep JK hitting the market, Clayton Offroad began assessing what type of lift was needed for the model. Taking the design improvements on the JK into consideration, the brand came up with a standard length-based control-arm suspension.

Products Tested to the Limits

Clayton Offroad is more than just a suspension manufacturer; it also produces transfer cases, gears, lockers, driveshafts, and complete custom axle assemblies born from its drivetrain expertise. All of the product designs and developments are rigorously tested in real-world situations to guarantee safety, proper functionality, and durability. Throughout the years, Clayton’s products have been abused and tested in professional rock crawling competitions all across the U.S. The brand takes pride in using only the latest technology, including CNC press brakes, millers, turning centers, and laser cutters to offer quality, close tolerance parts for your Jeep.
