LEDs offer richer color depth (6000K) when compared to neon lights. The Ultrabrights are extremely thin (1/8 of an inch) and flexible which allows for easy, discrete installations. The Ultrabrights are encapsulated in a tough resin that makes them 100% waterproof. The LEDs do not require transformers. Simply connect them directly to any 12 volt power source.
