BMR Suspension A-Arms: Upper, Non-Adjustable, Delrin, 0.5" Tall Ball Joint for G-Body 1978-1987

When it comes to enhancing your vehicle's handling and performance, the A-arms are often the unsung heroes of your suspension system. These components serve as the vital link between your front wheels and the chassis, and any flex or deflection can lead to misalignment, which impacts performance and driving feel. That's where the BMR Suspension AAU462 Upper A-arms come into play.

Key Features

  • Durable Construction: Crafted from heavy-duty 1.25-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing and reinforced with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces, these A-arms are built to last.
  • Enhanced Steering Response: The CNC machined, nickel-plated, dual-offset cross-shafts and heavy-duty stainless bushing retainers minimize deflection, providing a more responsive steering experience.
  • Greaseable Delrin Bushings: These bushings replace the stock rubber ones, offering superior strength and performance. Their internally fluted design allows for even grease distribution, ensuring smooth operation and longevity.
  • Improved High-Speed Stability: With an additional 2 degrees of positive caster, these A-arms enhance stability at high speeds, making them ideal for performance driving.
  • Customizable Fit: The compact design offers extra header clearance, allowing you to fit larger primary tubes for those high-horsepower applications.
  • Pre-assembled Convenience: Each set comes pre-assembled with new polyurethane bump stops and upper ball joints for easy installation.

Benefits

Switching to BMR's AAU462 Upper A-arms means saying goodbye to the excessive deflection found in stock rubber bushings. This upgrade not only improves steering feel and response during everyday driving but also enhances performance in more spirited driving situations. Plus, if you combine these with BMR Lower A-arms, you gain an impressive total of 4 additional degrees of positive caster, resulting in better geometry and increased lateral grip during cornering.

How It Started

BMR Suspension is an aftermarket company that specializes in creating suspension parts for various American muscle cars. The company started in 1998 and has since provided enthusiasts with an affordable option for aftermarket suspension parts.

Proudly Made in the USA

BMR products are 100% made in the USA at their manufacturing facility in Tampa, Florida. They use high-quality Chromoly steel, which is strong and durable. These are the same materials used in the roll cages of race cars.

All of BMR’s products are fixture-welded to avoid any deformation, ensuring that all the end products are within specification. Since their manufacturing process is done in-house, the company is able to maintain its level of quality. Because of this, BMR Suspension has become one of the most go-to brands for enthusiasts who want the best.
