BDS Suspension Suspension Lift Kit Jeep Wrangler 1987-1995 - BDS409H
Designed to improve stance performance and capability. BDS Suspension has designed this 3.5-inch lift kit for your 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. This kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 33" tires. This 3.5-inch lift kit includes front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs with new u-bolts front and rear track bar relocation brackets to center the axle brake line brackets power steering pitman arm bump stop extensions and a transfer case drop kit to ease the drive line angles. Round out this kit with specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance. Built to outperform BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design. These spring feature tapered leafs anti-friction pads bolt style leaf alignment clamps and a full military wrap to protect your spring eyes from the rocks.   • May require driveshaft lengthening for 13" (u-joint to u-joint) driveshaft.
  • May require larger diameter driveshaft if equipped with a 41-1/2" front driveshaft.
  • Extended shackles recommended to clear military wrap.
  • Models with accessories like hardtop rear tire carrier roof rack etc. should use #004351 springs on front and rear.
  • When combining lifted shackles with a 3.5" suspension system a tail shaft eliminator kit and a "CV" style rear driveshaft may be required to eliminate driveline vibration.
  • Pitman arms will NOT fit Yj models equiped with manual steering.
