This setup features the renowned "Original" Baer 2-piston, pad guided caliper (PGC) paired with a robust 13-inch, one-piece, slotted, drilled, zinc-plated integral hub rotor. The PGC caliper sports a striking red powder coat finish, accented by a sleek black logo. Plus, it comes equipped with dust and weather seals and utilizes the ever-popular D412 pad type.
You'll appreciate the quality included in this system, which comes with premium bearings that are pre-installed with races, dust caps, mounting brackets, and stainless braided hoses. All the necessary hardware is included, making installation a breeze. The 13-inch "Classic" system is designed to fit select wheels that are 17 inches or larger.
Important: This system is tailored for vehicles with a 15/16-inch master cylinder and the right pedal ratio. If you're using a manual brake setup, a 7/8-inch master cylinder will make it easier to apply the brakes. Keep in mind that any master cylinder larger than 15/16 inches will require excessive pedal input to achieve the proper line pressure for your brake system.
This impressive system is compatible with a range of vehicles, including the 1970-73 Ford Mustang, 70-71 Fairlane, 70 Falcon, 70-74 Maverick, 70-71 Torino, and the 1970-73 Mercury Cougar, as well as the 70-74 Comet, 70-71 Montego, and 70-71 Cyclone, all with OE Disc or Drum Brake Spindles.
