This brake system showcases the "Original" Baer 2-piston, pad guided caliper (PGC), perfectly paired with an 11.29" one-piece, slot and drill, zinc-plated integral hub rotor. The PGC caliper is not just functional; it comes in a striking red powder-coated finish with a sleek black logo. Plus, it’s equipped with dust and weather seals, and it uses the widely favored D412 pad type.
What’s included? You’ll find premium bearings with races already installed, dust caps, mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses, and all the necessary hardware to make installation a breeze. This 11.29" "Classic" system is designed to fit select 14" wheels and most wheels that are 15" or larger.
Important: This system is tailored for vehicles with a 15/16" master cylinder and the right pedal ratio. If you're using a manual brake setup, a 7/8" master cylinder can be a great choice, as it requires less effort to apply the brakes. Keep in mind, using a master cylinder larger than 15/16" may lead to excessive pedal input, making it hard to generate the proper line pressure for your brake system.
It’s compatible with the 1970-73 Ford Mustang, 70-71 Fairlane, 70 Falcon, 70-74 Maverick, 70-71 Torino, and the 1970-73 Mercury Cougar, as well as the 70-74 Comet, 70-71 Montego, and 70-71 Cyclone—all with OE disc or drum brake spindles.
