The AIRAID Cold Air Dam (CAD) Air Intake is designed to enhance your engine's performance by delivering larger amounts of cooler air, ultimately boosting horsepower and torque. The system retains the original air filter location while incorporating a large open-element air inlet, safeguarded by Cold Air Dam panels. These panels ensure a steady flow of cooler outside air into your engine, while also utilizing any existing factory cold air inlet ducts. With additional cold air passages, this system effectively isolates the filter from the hot air in the engine compartment, thanks to a seal that connects to the underside of the hood.
